Amazon UK #NowItsSummer

I was lucky enough to be invited over to the Sky Bar over at the Grange Hotel, Holborn to hear the latest news from about their plans for summer.

So according to the people over at, Sunday 4th June is the day summer will officially begin, and with this bold and brave statement they have launched a weather reactive #NowItsSummer store that will help customers find the best products and media to make the most of Summer no matter the weather. The store will combine weather data with Amazon’s recommendation technology to give you specific product suggestions based on the weather conditions where you live.

The #NowItsSummer store will feature the hottest summer essentials, as well as those products to save you from a rainy day. So for example if we check out the store today, as you can see below Amazon are acknowledging the fact that the weather isn’t on our side…

As part of the event X Factor 2015 Winner Louisa Johnson was on hand for a special intimate performance, showcasing her flawless vocal talent smashing out a beautiful cover of Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You, as well as performing her latest single Best Behaviour, you can check out the video for that single below as well as the cover performed previously for Capital FM.

The #NowItsSummer theme will be across all aspects of Amazon, including an Amazon Music #NowItsSummer 2017 playlist obviously featuring Louisa Johnson’s Best Behaviour as well as a HOT playlist including DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince’s summer classic Summertime and Florence + The Machine’s summer anthem You’ve Got The Love. As well as tracks tailored for those wet weather days, I mean who wouldn’t want to listen to Umbrella by Rhianna when you are on Amazon Prime ordering one to get delivered ASAP…
