One of the newest studios to launch in 2017 Ministry Does Fitness took over the former booze storage are of legendary nightclub Ministry of Sound, turning it into a functional studio based around seven workstations.

  6. Medicine Ball Station
  7. Kettlebells

With each of the different classes on offer the professional coaches design the workout based on each station, mixing up every session keeping things fresh and challenging.

The sessions on offer as of 1st July are:

Monday: Cardio

Tuesday: Strength

Wednesday: Endurance

Thursday: Core

Friday: Showcase

Saturday: Showcase

Sunday: Lifted

Walking into the studio it gives off the vibe of a cool bar, really relaxed and chilled. With the reception area right in front of the bi-folding doors which bathe the communal waiting area in sunlight. With the bare brick interior and DIY basic furniture you get the impression its a no fucks given kinda place, like you are here to workout and not live so get ready to GO HARD or GO HOME.

Once you enter the gym you can see where the real work has been done, it feels like walking into the club itself, having walked along a poster clad corridor you feel like a rockstar DJ about to take to the stage, hitting the gym with a full club light system and disco ball throwing blasts of colour across the dimly lit dark interior. Then it happens, the music kicks in and fuck me is it loud. None of this background noise, this is a full in your face bass attack! Ministry will work you hard with interval based workouts, making you sweat and getting your heart rate pumping.
