2018 The Year of ALL the GOALS

What are your 2018 goals? Do you set them? or do you like me jump bumble along accepting any challenge people set you and go full idiot mode chasing those challenges?

Well with the new year coming and feeling ready to tackle it with some FIGHT! I decided to set some IDIOTIC goals for me to spend 12 months chasing, hopefully smashing all of them, and if not constantly editing this post so it looks like I’ve smashed them all. Sounds like a plan right….Any I should add?


  • Top 5 finish in age category for each Spartan Race distance (Sprint, Super and Beast)
  • Complete THREE Spartan Race Trifectas
  • Run 1000 miles in 2018
  • Run a mile in under 5:30
  • 20 minutes or less 5k
  • 40 minutes or less 10k
  • 1:35 Half Marathon
  • Sub 4hr Marathon
  • Run an Ultra Marathon
  • Complete a Duathlon

The following is a list of skills I wish to acquire, some personal, some fitness and some just plain stupid:

  • Learn to drive
  • Double unders
  • To be able to touch my toes
  • Muscle Ups
  • Squat like a pro
  • Handstand like a pro
  • Handstand walk
  • Read 6 books in a year
  • Travel to 5 different Countries
  • Teach my WHY(daughter) to swim
  • Take my WHY to Crossfit Kids on a regular basis
