RACE NEWS: The Oxford Half Ballot Open

The Oxford Half makes it welcome return on Sunday 11th October 2020, the hugely popular Half is a ballot entry and with its mass appeal I would recommend acting now rather than later. The ballot opened on the 9th of December with two rounds of places being allocated, with the first on 2nd March 2020 followed up with another batch on March 11th.

Celebrating its 10th edition there is a likely to be a huge array of entertainment on course especially considering what has been seen in previous years, keep an eye on the official site for more information of on course entertainment…

Like them or hate them, paper cups will be used for The Oxford Half with Virgin Sport sticking to their commitment of sustainability and reducing their impact on the environment. I personally hate them, but I love the planet so will just put up and shut up for the greater good.

Want to know what to expect from the race? Why not take a peek and look at last years route, with the course taking you through the historic, prestigious city that is Oxford. You can check out the route for last years race below…

Ballot entry can be completed here, and as with all Virgin Sport races in 2020 all finishers will receive a finisher shirt, a medal, race photos, and a tote bag full of goodies.
